A very SHARP Saturday

It’s hard to believe it’s almost the end of Week 2, but so it is, and with that comes Saturday – SHARP’s day off.

Many things happen on a Saturday. It’s the day for people to come and go, so we farewell some and prepare to welcome others.

It’s also the catering staff’s day off, so those who are continuing on site often find the time to head to a cafe for a traditional breakfast fry-up.

Saturdays are time for doing a bit of personal maintenance, relaxation, and even some mechanical beautification.

As the day goes on, the bare patches on the campsite are slowly filled in with the new arrivals, who come together in the evening for site induction and – importantly – the Saturday evening barbecue.

There is always work to be done, so it is often not really a day off for all. But it is a day to rest and recharge, enjoy some relaxation and get ready for the next week to come.

And there is time, as always, to enjoy yet another beautiful Boneyard sunset.
